Comprehensive Eye Examination for all Medicare card holders

Early Eye-Examinations are extremely important.

It can help detect and correct serious eye conditions before they become permanent.

In school aged children it is also important to ensure your child has the correct visual aids, such as glasses or contacts if they need to, or they may fall behind in school or act out due to headaches and problems focusing.

Your child may be eligible for a comprehensive eye-examination with no out-of-pocket expenses.

We call it; “Clear Visions, Eye testing program for children at school”.

All Medicare card holders under the age of 65 receives one full comprehensive eye examination every 3 years.

This examination includes;

  • Eye Chart test
  • Internal and external eye examination
  • Clarity of vision & Retina testing
  • How well the eyes cooperate

AGED CARE:

Aging eyes go through changes quicker than younger peoples eyes do. That’s why it is important to get regular eye-examinations to ensure prescriptions are up to date and that the eyes are healthy.

We can provide this service on-site for your aged care to minimise the risk and hassle of taking your residents out of the facility.

Comprehensive Eye Examination includes;

  • Glaucoma Testing
  • Diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration
  • Checks on cataracts
  • Spectacle refraction
  • Visual acuity measurement
  • General eye health & comfort

General eye check-ups are covered by Medicare or DVA so there are no out-of-pocket costs for residents
